Health themed stalls will be at The Arena Church next Thursday (September 19) before a meeting to let local people have their say on health services in the area.
The NHS Erewash Clinical Commissioning Group wants feedback from patients about health services in the area and will also report back on the progress it has made since it was set up in April and how public money has been spent.
The market stalls will offer a range of services including access to organisations about stopping smoking and leisure facilities.
The CCG will be running the event from 4pm - 7pm. From 7pm until 7.30pm there will be a more formal session at the Arena Church on Rutland Street.
Dr Avi Bhatia, CCG chair, said: “When we were set up, the main aim was to bring local health services closer to the community by transferring commissioning powers to GPs in consultation with patients. “To ensure that Erewash continues to provide services that are in tune with the needs and wishes of patients, we want as many people as possible to attend.”
