An Ilkeston man has been fined and banned from driving due to being caught behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol.

Daniel James Beadle, 19, of East Street, Ilkeston, stood before Southern Derbyshire magistrates on August 22.

He was fined £110, with a £20 victim surcharge, and told to pay £85 costs, for drink-driving on July 26.

He was banned from driving for 18 months.
