Little Harris Khan got to play boss to the grown-ups when he took charge of soft-play chain Wacky Warehouse.
Harris, from Ilkeston, is only seven, but beat competition from 200 other kids to score a place as a mini executive for Wacky Warehouse and Fayre and Square, which is a national pub restaurant.
The company selected ten ‘Little Leaders’ who got to give ideas about how they would improve Wacky Warehouse and Fayre and Square.
Some of the changes Harris and the nine other mini-executives suggested were themed birthday parties and an official song for Wacky Warehouse. These ideas have been taken on board by the company and are set to be implemented over the next year.
Gemma Hall, Harris’s mum said: “Harris was so excited to get into the boardroom and makes some demands.
“It’s not every day kids can tell us adults what to do – and know that they are actually listening. He loved every minute and couldn’t wait to tell the boss he was fired!”
