A new visitor to Treetops Hospice at Risley is proving very popular with the guests in day care.

Lady, the seven-year-old retired racing greyhound, is a registered Pets As Therapy dog, owned by hospice funriture warehouse worker Martin Cook and his wife Karen.

Every Thursday Karen and Lady go into the hospice and stay for an hour.

“She gets a wonderful reception and is popular with the guests, the volunteers and the staff,” said Karen.
