Letter: Keep up Duke fight

Readers' Letters

Readers' Letters

I am writing to you in connection with a unilateral notice that was place on our property in October 2013 by the Duke of Rutland. We completed a form UN4 and applied to cancel this notice within few days.

By January this year we had not heard anything, so contacted the Land Registry again and were informed they had received an objection form the Duke of Rutland to this notice being cancelled.

We waited with bated breath. On February 5 we received a letter from the Land Registry to say that the unilateral notice had been removed from our title to the property.

All it has cost us is a little time, a few pages of paper, printer ink and a couple of stamps to get the matter resolved.

So to everyone in the same situation get the UN4 completed and sent off. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Mr and Mrs D.Bolton,

Address supplied.
