A school girl from Selston went missing last weekend.

Gypsy Brown was last seen by her mum at around 3pm on Saturday, February 15.

She left her Selston home with a packed bag claiming to be staying over a friend’s house that night.

When the 15-year-old did not return home the next day and it became clear she had not stayed with her friend the alarm was raised.

Officers are making enquiries into two unconfirmed sightings of Gypsy in Mansfield and Nottingham.

They are appealing to her to call home to let her family know she is safe.

Gypsy is white, around 5ft 3ins tall with long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweater, a blue body warmer with a fur hood and black trousers. She may also have a gold handbag with her.

Gypsy, who is believed to have little money on her, has links to Mansfield and Heanor.

If you have seen Gypsy since Saturday afternoon or know of her whereabouts call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
