Members of Stapleford Community group who held a fundraising event on Saturday in aid of the Bethany Topley Community Fund managed to raise more than £300 for the family.
The event, which was held at the Montrose Court Community centre saw members from the community pull together with donations made from local businesses, Cinnamon Indian Restaurant, Greggs and All Things Pretty for the charity raffle.
Cakes were also made and donated by Stapleford residents.
There was also children’s entertainment in the form of a clown.
The community fund now stands at almost £650 for Bethany Topley and her family who are currently in Oklahoma City in the US for Bethany’s life-saving radiotherapy treatment.
