A reward has been offered for a stolen bike which was taken in broad daylight from Lower Bath Street car park.
The bicycle which was locked up, was stolen at 10.30am by a white male wearing a white jacket and black scarf covering his face.
The victim who spotted the thief with the bike while on the phone to the police attempted to stop him, but failed.
It is thought the offender rode off toward Tesco.
The owner of the bike which is a white Carrera model with black features, is now offering a reward for the safe return of the bike which he uses as a means of transport to help his disabled partner.
Anyone who may have further information should contact the police.
