Masked raiders have targeted a Kirk Hallam shop for the second time in two weeks stuffing a sack full of cigarettes.
Detectives believe it is the same gang behind both break-ins because of the distinctive yellow rubble bag they use to make off with their stash.
The latest raid at the Post Office on Queen Elizabeth Way was on Tuesday April 8 some time between 11.05pm and 11.25pm.
A gang of four masked men smashed their way in through a back door and filled up a yellow rubble sack with cigarettes.
The first burglary happened sometime between Thursday March 27 at 9.30pm and Friday March 28 at 5.15am. Three men forced rear doors open, again filled a yellow rubble sack with cigarettes and loaded them into a silver car.
Investigating officers have released descriptions of the gang from the first break-in.
One of the men is described as white, wearing a black jumper with a gold Adidas logo on the front and a hood that was worn up and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.
The second man is white, wearing a black waterproof style jacket with the hood worn up, black tracksuit bottoms and Nike trainers. He had a red and white hooded t-shirt visible from the bottom of his jacket.
The third man was wearing a black waterproof style jacket with a small logo on the chest, black tracksuit bottoms with shiny black stripes down the leg. The hood of the jacket was worn up with the drawstrings pulled tight around his face.
