Jobless Wayne Hudson got through £2,294 in six-hours after being handed a bank card stolen from a car parked on the drive of a Chesterfield house.

Derby Crown Court heard this month how at 4.17am on June 28, he withdrew £100 from a cashpoint outside a Co-op store and took £200 a minute later.

He helped himself to £200, £100 and £50 from another machine on Hasland Road, according to the court, before ending up at a cashpoint outside a third shop, taking out £50 at 9.06am.
