More than 1,000 people packed out the Erewash Musuem this weekend for a 1940s inspired event.
Crowds gathered to watch performances by singer Johnny Valentine and dances by the Festival Swing Dance Society.
Collections officer at the museum, Michael Crane, said: “It was a fantastic day and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.
“We had more than 1,200 visitors on the day.
“We were really lucky with the weather as well, only a few spots of rain and otherwise dry.
“All in all it was another great event.”
