Teen left scarred by attack

Two teenagers were locked up for kicking a student and stamping on his face - leaving him scarred for life.

Derby Crown Court heard last week how the attack left the 18-year-old victim unable to complete his A levels and afraid to go out in Staveley.

Judge John Burgess ordered 22-months’ custody for Reece Hardy, 18, of Dover Street, Creswell and 20 months for Jordon Humphrey, 19, of Linden Road, Creswell. Both admitted two counts of assault and one count of causing grievous bodily harm.
