Three vehicles were involved in a crash on the M1 motorway.

The collision happened between Junctions 26 and 25, on the southbound carriageway, about 6pm, on Saturday, November 15.

A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “Fire crews were called out to a three vehicle road traffic collision.

“No people were trapped and all casualties were dealt with by the ambulance service.”

The firefighters, from Long Eaton and Stockhill, made the crash scene safe for other motorists within 25 minutes.
