The Age UK Luncheon Club meets every Monday at the Flamstead Centre on Albert Street in Ilkeston. Recently diners were visited by deputy police and crime commissioner Hardyal Dhinsda, who brought along literature about the Scam Watch Derbyshire project, which aims to improve people’s understanding of the nature of scam artists. Head chef Paul Fogg said: “Anyone wanting to come and join us for lunch, just needs to turn up on a Monday about 11.45am.”
