Man flashed at teenagers

A pervert exposed himself to three teenage girls close to a school in the middle of the afternoon.

The friends, aged13, were walking along Granby Street, close to Kirk Hallam Community Sports and Technology College, on Tuesday July 2 when the man called out to them. When they turned around they saw that he had exposed himself.

A police spokesman said: “The friends were walking past a wooded area just outside the school gates at around 3.40pm when he called out to them and exposed himself.”

The man is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, aged in his late 30s to early 40s, with short hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and dark jeans.

Police are linking the incident to one on May 3 when a man exposed himself to two teenage girls on Godfrey Drive. The girls, aged 14 and 15, heard someone walking behind them at around 6.25pm. When they turned around they noticed the man’s trousers were by his knees.

Anyone who thinks they may know who the pervert is, or has any information should contact Derbyshire Police on 101.
