A HOMELESS man found dead on the train line near Trowell had suffered multiple injuries, an inquest heard this week.
The body of Glen McKim, 31, was discovered on Sunday May 15.
Coroner for Nottinghamshire Mairin Casey opened an inquest into his death at Nottingham Coroner’s Court last Wednesday.
The inquest heard that Mr McKim, of no fixed address, was born in Belfast and had family in Northern Ireland.
A post-mortem examination showed that he died from multiple injuries.
The court heard that Mr McKim had to be identified by his fingerprints.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed, pending further enquiries into Mr McKim’s death.
