Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to about a robbery in Long Eaton.

At around 12.30pm on Thursday, October 6, a 52-year-old man was stood smoking outside the Oxford pub in the Market Place.

He was approached by a man who offered him some cigarettes for sale. The victim agreed to purchase some and the pair walked together to the cash point at the corner of Oxford Street and Market Place.

The victim withdrew some cash and went with the man to collect the cigarettes. They went to the car park at Bennetts Hotel, Walton Street, where the man punched the victim in the stomach and stole his cash before running off.
