A NEW £35,000 sensory system has been unveiled at Victoria Park Leisure Centre.

Mayor of Erewash, Cllr Jennifer Hulls, officially opened the new interactive, multi-sensory system which will be used by disabled children.

Cllr Mike Wallis, lead member for culture and leisure, said: “We are very proud to be able to unveil this new multi-sensory system which will greatly enhance the experience for children with disabilities, young people and their families when they visit Victoria Park Leisure Centre.

“I know many families and local residents have already welcomed the news that we have installed this system and I’m sure it will prove to be extremely popular and, indeed, beneficial.”
