A STAPLEFORD charity shop has been spruced up after staff at a neighbouring business redecorated the Derby Road store.
Enterpirse Cars donated supplies and a day of their staff’s time to help complete the makeover.
Mayor of Stapleford Cllr Ray Darby said: “My mother-in-law had pancreatic cancer and, before she died, used to go to Treetops Hospice Day Care Unit and had a Treetops nurse come to her home.
“My mother too had support from Treetops while she was suffering from cervical cancer. We always support Treetops and take part in their light up a life ceremony every Christmas.”
Sara McLuckie, Treetops Hospice retail manager, said: “We’re very grateful to Enterprise Cars for helping us. Shop manager Val and her volunteers worked so hard to re-open the shop in double quick time, and it’s fantastic to hear all the positive comments.”
