Nightingale display

THE STORY of nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale is being told through a new exhibition at Erewash Museum.

The exhibition has been created by The Florence Nightingale Derbyshire Association and the museum, just off Ilkeston’s Market Place, is one of the county’s selected venues to host the display.

The exhibition opened on Tuesday and will run until the end of October.

The display illustrates Florence’s legacy and her lifetime achievements in nursing care, army medical practice, and public health.
