No need for examinations

Sir,

I think the practice of some employers of making their new employees submit to medical examinations is wrong and should be discontinued.

It does no good and only causes embarrassment, especially to young girls.

My teenage daughter recently started work and was made to strip off for a thorough examination by a male doctor.

No one should be made to be examined against their wishes. It is an intrusion of personal privacy.
