THE LAST week of summer holiday activities at Erewash Museum has been an historical week dedicated to the Normans.
Free crafts and competitions have been held this week with kids creating helmets and shields.
The holiday events end on Friday with Norman pottery workshops for children of all ages.
About 3,000 people have visited the council-run museum since the holidays began. Cllr Mike Wallis said: “It has been an outstanding summer of success for our museum.”
