The star of this week’s Rescue Me is a young Staff who loves nothing more than a game of tug- of-war.

Ozzy is a five-year-old Staffordshire Terrier taken in at Derby RSPCA after his owner sadly passed away.

He is missing his owner terribly, said Karen Carter, communities manager at the centre.

He does not get along with other animals so would have to be re-homed as the only pet. But the Staffy is obedient and playful and as Karen says, is definitely a people’s dog and would be fine with older children.

To meet Ozzy pop into the centre on Abbey Street, Derby, or call the shelter on 01332 344620.
