PYJAMA clad teenagers and crazy wig wearing children were just some of the competitors in this year’s Stanton-by-Dale pancake race.
Teams turned out on Saturday March 12 to race up and down the lane of Stanton Hall after meeting at the Old School House in the village.
Thirteen teams entered the six categories and more than 100 people lined the route to watch the races.
Canon Ian Gooding was there on the day.
He said: “It was a brilliant day, the weather was lovely and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
“Lots of pancakes were consumed afterwards, which is the whole point of course.”
