This was one of a number of visits to Erewash from high-profile politicans.
His visit was to discuss the Conservative Party’s launch of its General Election manifesto.
On Monday Justine Miliband joined the campaign train with Labour’s candidate, Catherine Atkinson.

Justine and Catherine talked with students at the Friesland School about law and the importance of voting.
