Police officers in Ilkeston have released stills from CCTV of two men that they would like to speak to in connection with a spate of graffiti that has appeared in the town.

The image shows two white men, approximately 20-years-old, wearing dark clothing and black and white trainers. One of the men is wearing a black top and a rucksack.

PC Jo Price from Larklands and Gallows Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “Over recent weeks we have had a lot of graffiti appearing in the town with tags such as ‘above’ ‘ba’ ‘ab’ ‘unle’. Activity seems to be taking place between 9.30pm and 4am on various days.”

PC Price has also released an image of one of the pieces of graffiti saying: “If anyone recognises the graffiti and knows who is responsible please contact me or the team.”
