A POLICE van was involved in a collision in West Hallam this week, which caused one lane of the road to be closed.
It is not known whether the Vauxhall Vivaro was on an emergency call when it collided with the Jeep Cherokee, which was towing a horsebox, in High Lane East last Wednesday.
The driver of the Jeep and his daughter were taken to hospital to be checked over but were not injured.
There were no animals in the horsebox at the time of the crash.
The driver of the police van was not injured.
The crash happened at about 2pm close to Straw’s Bridge.
Several police officers were on the scene to direct traffic as well as an ambulance crew.
