Preparations are well underway for the fourth annual New Disorder music festival at MFN, Shipley Gate.
But organisers – aiming to raise money for Rock Against Child Pornography (RACPA UK) – need your help.
Tracy Holland, from West Hallam, is the charity’s victim support therapist and she is looking for donations of anything from cuddly toys to gift sets to band merchandise to give away as prizes.
“The level of support we have found in Ilkeston and the surrounding areas is wonderful,” she said.
“We are desperately seeking donations of unwanted gifts or items for us to use as prizes to help raise funds for the cause.”
Call Tracy on 07772 698352 to arrange for items to be collected.
At the event on Saturday September 14, there will be live bands across two stages, a craft fair, exotic animal handling, inflatables, world record attempts, a display by Ilkeston firefighters, food, a fully stocked bar and more.
Tickets are £6 in advance, under-10s free, £8 on the door. And there is free camping.
