KIDS can have a go at beatboxing, samba dancing and cooking this week as part of the council-run Erewash Extreme programme of summer holiday events for eight- to 17-year-olds.
The Erewash Extreme series of events aim to give children across the area something different to try during the holidays.
There will be beatboxing at Kirk Hallam Community Centre in Kenilworth Drive on Friday, samba dancing and Brazilian capoeira at St Giles Church Hall, Sandiacre, on Tuesday, and a cooking session at Cotmanhay Pavilion on Friday.
Pond and river studies is on offer at Petersham Hall, Long Eaton.
All activities run from 2pm to 4pm.
