BRIGHTLY coloured paintings donned the walls at a Stapleford school as pupils put on an exhibition of their artwork.

Children at Albany Infant and Nursery School have spent time this term learning about Spanish artist, Joan Miro.

All classes in the school took inspiration from one of his most famous paintings titled the Garden.

Art and design technology co-ordinator, Alison Rhodes said: “During the topic the children created paintings, drawings, clay sculptures, models and collages which were displayed in a Miro gallery in the school hall.

“Parents were invited to view the children’s creative work and even sampled some Miro decorated biscuits.”
