More than 100 students at Ormiston Ilkeston Enterprise Academy helped their teacher to raise more than £600 for a mental health charity. The whole of year eight and their head of year Lesley Lowe took part in a sponsored run around the academy for MIND. Mrs Lowe organised the sponsored event after taking up the challenge of running every day in January to raise money for the charity. She said: “I’ve just been blown away by the response from our students.”
