Village scouts have raised £119.52 for the Royal National Lifeboat Association, after a talk by a volunteer.

The 10th Stanley Common Scouts group held a market stall in Ilkeston, selling donated second hand goods to raise the cash.

Andy Williams, who inspired the group with his talk in October, said: “A fantastic result which also supports the Scouts in gaining their Community Challenge badge.”
