A rock festival will raise funds for an Ilkeston charity.

Rockin For The Children will be held at The Maze in Nottingham on May 2 and 3, with 20 bands coming from across the UK to help raise awareness and funds for Awareness for Autism, based in Ilkeston, and RACPA UK, a charity supporting abused children.

The organisers also run a rock-themed internet radio station based in Ilkeston and supporting local bands, called Noize Level Critical.

They will also do a 24-hour radio show live on air from March 13 to 14 for Awareness for Autism, so they can buy specialised learning equipment for local children and schools.
