STAFF at an Ilkeston solicitors handed over a cheque to Ben’s Den this week after fundraising throughout 2011 for the Ilkeston charity.
During the past 12 months, Robinsons’ staff have taken part in a cycle challenge, riding as far as they could on an exercise bike in one hour, staged a fun day and employee Kristin Clark and her husband Alex were sponsored to compete in the Wiggle Rut, a 74 mile bike ride through the Leicestershire and Rutland countryside. Money has also been donated by Robinsons Solicitors clients.
Neil Barnes, managing principal at Robinsons Solicitors, said: “Ben’s Den is a hugely worthwhile charity that helps to give young children with cancer and their families a much deserved break at a very difficult time in the lives.
“I’m delighted that Robinsons Solicitors has raised so much money for the charity.”
Tracey Parker said “I’d like to thank everyone at Robinsons Solicitors for raising the vital funds towards the replacement Ben’s Den caravan.”
