ILKESTON Community Hospital’s annual spring fair was a great success, according to fundraisers – despite the bad weather.
The League of Friends raised £800 for its coffers on Saturday, to go towards projects at the Heanor Road hospital.
Chairman Mike Perry said: “It went really well even though the weather was against us.”
Some of the entertainment on offer included a dance show from the Dance Divas and a number of rides and stalls.
This year the League is hoping to spend more than £100,000 on projects including a sensory garden and courtyard, due to be completed by June.
