Stanton Ilkeston Football Club celebrates its 90th anniversary this year and is looking for past players to join in with the festivities.
The club started life as Stanton Ironworks FC and played its first match on Saturday, September 10, 1921.
From its Ironworks origins, the club is now very different even though its nickname is still The Ironmen.
Although the Ironworks have now gone, the club is thriving with teams from nursery through to seniors and over 250 players turning out every week.
With celebrations planned for later in the year, the club would love to hear from past players who would like to take part.
If you are a former Ironman and you want to find out more then contact the club on 0773 4056800.
