Hundreds of people turned up at fundraising events across Ilkeston over the weekend raising thousands for charity and a local nursery.
More than £3,600 was raised at an event for Kirk Hallam school boy Callum Padgett who has neuroblastoma.
Friends and family organised the event to raise cash in case Callum needs to go overseas for treatment.
Brothers Darren and Carl Travis’ event at the New Manor Ground saw 23 people sign up to the bone marrow donor register and more than £1,000 raised for the Anthony Nolan Trust.
And children and parents also enjoyed the Rocking Horse Day Nursery’s annual summer fair.
