BONbons, liquorice allsorts and aniseed balls are just some of the sweet treats on offer at a new traditional sweet shop in Sandiacre.
Erewash MP Jessica Lee officially opened Sweet Temptations on Station Road on Saturday.
Owners, Amanda and Graham Greensmith and their son Callum Martin-Greensmith decided to convert the shop after it has stood empty for more than four years.
Amanda said: “People thought we were mad when they saw us stripping down the windows and doing the work but everyone’s been saying how nice the shop looks and how good it is to see it open again. I was really nervous on Saturday that there wouldn’t be many customers but we were really busy.”
