Tina Clough, 30, is the owner of the fast paced public relations agency, Poppy-PR, located on Bath Street in Ilkeston.

Where were you born and bred ? I was born on Kennedy Drive in Stapleford where I lived until I was 24 years old, I then moved to sunny Ilkeston where I still live today!

What are your hobbies and interests? I love walking my dog Poppy the crazy cocker spaniel, I have a keen interest in reading (comes with the territory of being a journalist!), and I love to travel.

What is your favourite film and why? I love anything with a bit of action thrown in, I would have to say Casino Royale, as I am a die hard Daniel Craig fan.

What is your biggest achievement in life? Opening the Poppy-PR office on Bath Street in Ilkeston. I started the PR agency over five years ago during the recession, it hasn’t been easy, but we have just moved into our first office here, and I am extremely proud of how far we have come.

What are your hopes for the future of this area? I am looking forward to seeing the regeneration of the old Ilkeston Coop, which will be turned into apartments and around seven retail units by ALB Investments. I hope many more developers will follow suit, it would be fantastic for Ilkeston.

What is your favourite place to eat in Ilkeston ? I love the Stanhope Arms in Stanton, and my guilty pleasure is food from Pizza Bella on Bath Street when I am in the office.

Where is your favourite local place to go on a day trip? It is a bit of a drive, but I love going to The Owl House Spa with my best friend Charlotte, which is over near the airport.

What is your idea of a perfect Saturday night? A few glasses of Prosecco with the girls over in West Bridgford with a bite to eat at Escabeche, the tapas restaurant there.

If you could change anything in Ilkeston what would it be? I would change the bottom of Bath Street where our new office is located, to encourage more developers like ALB Investments to invest in the derelict office spaces and shops there.

What will your epitaph say? Don’t worry she is going to the big champagne party in the sky!
