Meet Memphis, a two-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier who was rescued by the RSPCA centre on Abbey Street, Derby, by an inspector.
Staff say he is a very friendly boy with bags of energy.
His favourite pastimes include going for long walks in the park and playing with his ball.
And believe it or not the two-year-old also enjoys eating ice creams on hot sunny days.
Memphis has come along nicely with his training and now knows several commands, although he does forget himself at times.
The terrier would be best in a home with no cats, although he may get on with a female dog over the age of ten.
If you think you can give Memphis the home that he deserves simply drop in to the centre on Abbey Street, Derby, or call the RSPCA on 01332 344620 and arrange a visit.
