The final instalment of a trilogy written by an Ilkeston born author has hit the shelves of libraries in Erewash.

Graham Adams’ latest book is called The Sephants Eye and is the last book in his The Stone triology.

Six copies of the book will be available in Ilkeston and district libraries, including the Long Eaton mobile library.

Graham, 68, who now lives in Hampshire, said: “It has been the most exciting two years of my life, and I am so grateful for the wonderful support that Ilkeston Library have given. I do hope that the readers will find something special in my offerings,

“I am uplifted in the fact that my mother would have been very proud to witness what I have achieved with my books.”

A former Stanton Ironworker, Graham drew on his experiences in Ilkeston in his younger days in his first novel, as well as setting parts in other locations familiar to him.

He based many of his ideas around his days spent in Ilkeston.
