Town TV star snapped leaving city strip club

ILKESTON-BORN stage and screen star Robert Lindsay racked up a £1,600 bill at a London strip club, a national newspaper has reported.

The 61-year-old denied any ‘debauchery’ during the night out at Spearmint Rhino, which was organised to celebrate the end of West End play Onassis, in which he had the lead role.

He told the Daily Mail this week that his wife, former Generation Game co-host Rosemarie Ford. 41, was well aware of the ‘lad’s night out’. “If you want to go out and have some fun in this country, you can have some fun, as long as you don’t do anyone any harm,” he said.

“It’s a perfectly legal club on a high street. It’s not a backstreet brothel, for goodness sake.”

Lindsay, who stars in BBC comedy My Family, said he stayed two hours but declined to comment on whether he had a private dance.
