High Peak Buses providing extra journeys for key workers
Additional morning and afternoon trips will also help keyworkers’ children get to school.
A spokesman for the company said though it was operating a reduced service on most routes during coroanavirus lockdown, it was able to offer extra transfers.

Hide AdThe supplementary services will help people travelling from Buxton to Hartington and Ashbourne, New Mills and Glossop and Stockport and Manchester Airport.
Hayfield commuters will also benefit from a extra trip from Whaley Bridge to Macclesfield.
The extra journeys from Monday May 4 include the below:
Route 60: Hayfield – Whaley Bridge - Macclesfield. An earlier journey from Whaley Bridge to Macclesfield has been added Route 61: Buxton – New Mills - Glossop. An earlier journey southbound from Glossop to Hayfield has been added - this will connect with the 60 from Hayfield to New Mills to allow through travel beyond Hayfield Skyline199: Buxton – Stockport – Manchester Airport. There will be earlier and later journeys between Buxton, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Whaley Bridge as well as an earlier first journey from the airport and Stockport to Buxton and an extra early morning journey from Buxton to Stockport and the airport Route 442: Buxton – Hartington – Ashbourne. An afternoon return trip from Hartington to Buxton has been added to provide a later bus from Harpur Hill back to Buxton where it will continue as a route 185 to Fairfield to allow through travel across Buxton town centre
