I refer to former parish councillor Terry Hall’s latest unsuccessful attempt to denigrate the integrity of the Stanley and Stanley Common Parish Council, Former Councillor Forces Election (Advertiser Thursday July 12).
Mr.Hall has no reason to be proud of his contrived election, motivated by not getting his way in a democratic vote, which I understand he mistakenly believed would require a full mid-term council election. It could now cost parishioners £2,500 to fill one vacancy. Conduct hardly in accord with his value for money principles.
Perhaps some introspection might be appropriate?
