VIDEO: Paralympian comes to town

Crowds gathered outside Ilkeston’s Victoria Park Leisure Centre this morning to cheer on paralympic gold medal winner Richard Whitehead as he set off on his 24th marathon in 24 days.

The double amputee is running 40 marathons in 40 days to raise cash for charity.
