Video: Remembrance Day in Ilkeston

Hundreds of people turned out to pay their respects to the town’s war heroes as part of a Remembrance Day service held in the town centre.

Groups marched from South Street car park through the town to the market place where a service was held at the cenotaph, with a minutes silence observed at 11am.

Erewash Mayor, Councillor Val Custance, gave a reading and laid a wreath, followed by members of the armed forces.
