KINDHEARTED pre-schoolers put on their walking shoes for a charity toddle waddle this week.

Cotmanhay Children’s Centre raised cash for the Meningitis Trust by walking around the park near the centre on Thursday.

Lucinda Calladine from the Beauvale Drive centre said: “We really wanted to do something which would help make a difference and raise awareness, as well as money – a Toddle Waddle is the perfect way to do both.”

Lucinda said the toddlers had great fun walking around the park and joining in fun activities. The centre are still counting up the amount raised for The Meningitis Trust which works with families affected by the disease.
