Would-be-robber punches man in Long Eaton

A would-be robber punched a man in the face and tried to take his bag.

At around 12.30am on Monday, July 6, a 21-year-old man was walking along Bennett Street, Long Eaton, when a man came out of an alleyway and tried to snatch his bag.

The victim resisted and was punched in the face. He got free and ran home to call police. He suffered grazing to his face.

He has described the man who attacked him as white with brown hair. He wore a white t-shirt.
