West Hallam 1st XI 148-4 beat
Lullington 2nd XI 147 all out

West Hallam proved to be too strong for their opponents as they earned their second win of the season on Saturfday.

They quickly applied the pressure with James Lockhart and Peter Hort working well in reducing the opponents to 42-4 in 18 overs with Lockhart the pick of the two taking the first three wickets and Hort picking up the latter.

Despite Lullington showing a bit of staying power the wickets still fell at regular intervals thanks to Josh Emerton and Tom Lockhart.

James Lockhart came back at the end to mop up the tail finishing with figures of 5-14

West Hallam then came out to bat and started positively with Matt Tatler and James Bostock putting on 37 for the first wicket, Tatler quickly followed by Bostock.

Then overseas player Josh Emerton settled the ship scoring a very impressive 63 not out backed up by Matt Brown (15) Ben Clarkson (8) and James Lockhart 15 not out.

A good win for West Hallam who now go into the two league matches this coming weekend with some confidence.
