THE Boxing Day clash between Eastwood Town and Ilkeston Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A pitch inspection took place on Christmas Eve and with snow and ice still covering the Coronation Park pitch and little indication that temperatures will rise sufficiently enough to melt it, the game will instead be re-arranged.
Ilkeston will now have to wait until Monday, December 28th for their next game when, weather permitting, they will welcome visitors Corby Town to the New Manor Ground for a 3pm kick-off.
